Rooftop bar Denver

Rooftop-grade: 7/10

Prime season: May-Sept

Residents: 700 000

Climate: Seasonal

Denver has a semi-arid continental climate zone, with four distinct seasons. Warm summers, nice spring and relatively cold winter and autumn. But with 300+ days of sunshine, most of the best rooftop bars in Denver can stay open year-round. Either thanks to complementing indoor lounges, or with heaters and rooftop igloos out on the terraces.

Despite that the city has plenty of skyscrapers, most of the Denver roof terraces are located on lower levels.

A classic thing for the sky lounges in Denver is to have sports bar with live music, live sports and classic American food and beers, although recent years has seen a boom of trendy sky lounges as well.

If you like live sports, lots of different beers, classic American food as burgers, tacos and other street food, Denver is a very good city regarding places to drink with a view. The view is almost secondary here, with more focus on the atmosphere and food/drinks.
